The engine that features so prominently in the look of this rod is a nicely dressed out 350 cubic inch powerhouse. A polished scoop style air filter feeds cold air to an Edelbrock carb and intake. Ribbed and chromed valve covers have a Chevy Bowtie in orange featured on them. A chromed alternator adds its splash of flash and Hedman headers look great and sound great as they bend and twist their way between the frame rails on the way out to Flowmaster mufflers. The frame itself is borrowed from an ’82 S-10 that was shortened for the project, so there is a modern control arm suspension up front with power disc brakes to assure good handling and braking ability. Out back, a 4-link rear end works together with a 10-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears installed to get the power to the ground.
