This car is a play and show car, not a daily driver. The motor is a 1962 409 with dual 4bbl carbs, it was pulled apart a built by Dave Plubell and was machined .030 over, crane hydraulic cam installed; the 690 heads received a set of Crane performance valves and springs with Crane 1.75 roller rockers. The 409 crank was ground.030 inches. The connecting rods were magna-fluxed, inspected, then shot peened. The result is 425 hp on premium pump gas, has the sound and power you would expect plus the ability to run the vintage air system. The Lenco 4 speed is the ultimate over kill, with the Mcleod two disc clutch its built to withstand up to 1200hp.
