1982 Volkswagen Rabbit Pickup I bought this truck in 2012 and has been a daily driver to work. This truck was rebuilt from bumper to bumper in 2014 The diesel has about 30,000 miles on a total rebuild, new pistons, crankshaft, bearings, and head, with all new valves, new timing belt, water pump and rebuilt injector pump.  The transmission is a close ratio 5 speed from a VW Scirocco  with a new 200mm clutch and pressure plate New motor mounts, CV joints, new front brake calipers and rotors, master cylinder, new struts, new wheel bearings, ball joints and tie rod ends. all new shifter bushings, new exhaust from down pipe to tailpipe, new rear brake shoes. Aftermarket Pioneer Radio and speakers  The Diesel was rebuilt in 2012 and the rest was redone in 2014-2015 It has a custom Berlin hinged tonneau cover and 14″ wheels and tires. It needs a new headliner, the battery is 3 years old, and the tires have about 30,000 miles on them too. This truck runs great and drives like new,   but remember it’s 34 years old! Truck has some dings but paint is really nice and pretty much rust free.
