This 1967 Chevrolet C10 is a custom pickup with serious big block power under the hood.
You can tell there’s something a bit different about this pickup. It has the smooth Sportside cab that came on later Chevy pickups. So you have the classic appeal of a stepside, but with an even sleeker design. And it’s impressive how this bed can be made to look like the belonged here from day one. Plus, you have sporty upgrades like the cow induction hood, outlaw-style polished wheels, and extra meaty rear tires to all signal that this is one powerful pickup. More than just look like a muscle truck, this one can still get to the job done. It has liner paint in the bed, and the yellow exterior paint has a ready-to-work attitude. So while you can use the value price to turn this into a big block show truck, it also has the right kind of appeal today for those who love to use their vehicles without worry.
The interior borrows some more elements from later Chevys. There are items you’re going to find useful, like the updated steering wheel on the tilt column. And late model bench seat has some nice contouring, comfy velour, and a fold-down armrest for the driver. This was even born an A/C pickup (it will need components and servicing to return the function.) But what you’ll love the most are the piece that get your enthusiast heart pumping. They are performance parts like the B&M floor shifter, SunPro auxiliary gauges, and column-mounted tach.
The engine bay is filled with big block power. This is Chevy’s mighty 454 cubic-inch V8, and it’s topped with a Demon four-barrel carburetor. It even has good supporting components, like an MSD ignition and a large aluminum radiator. It all makes for a strong-running total package that also loves to make a terrific growl from the Flowmaster dual exhaust. The 12-bolt rear end and wide rear tires do a great job of getting the power to the ground, but this is more than just a hot rod. The three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and the C10’s sought-after trailing arm rear suspension all come together to make for a fine anytime driving pickup.
