This Short Wide Apache has all the power without giving up creature comforts like Air Conditioning and Power Windows. This build is 85% or better complete with only the final stretch left to be completed. With over 35k in receipts, this truck was designed to be a daily driver. I wanted to create a clean and comfortable head turner for daily driven use that made tons of power on demand with all the reliability you could ask for. Unfortunately I have many other projects underway and this one has come to a halt. As you read the specs below, you will see that only quality parts and components have been used from the beginning with the end goal in mind. To start off from the beginning, the truck was sandblasted prior to paint and from there it received a cyber gray metallic paint job inside and out (late model GM color) with a flattening agent added. As the pictures below will show, I was going for the spot gloss look. That meaning, a relatively satin yet still metallic base paint job being complimented by high gloss black accent pieces such as grille, bumper and eventually the Signature Fleetside Spears. *Worth noting that if a high gloss paint finish were desired, it would simply just need a clearcoat spayed over. The exterior Door Handles, latches, and strikers are all powder coated gloss black as well as the front hood emblem. The inner cab has been covered in Fatmat sound deadener for added comfort and sound/heat control.
