Are you searching for a super-cool one-of-a-kind vintage pickup truck that can be driven and enjoyed to the fullest, without breaking your bank account? Well, I believe that I have just the truck for you!

‘Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is very happy to offer you this beautiful fully-custom 1954 GMC 5-Window Custom Pickup! Built here in St. George, Utah by a long-time local hot-rodder, this ’54 GMC Pickup certainly features a lot of bang for the buck! It all started w/ an original 100% rust-free 1953 GMC truck cab that had been in storage for a while waiting for a project such as this. The front & rear fenders are from an original 1954 GMC pickup, and a brand-new bed was purchased for the build. A 1954 Chevrolet 3100 front grille was installed, due to a preference over the original GMC grille. A 1/8” aluminum insert was laid out in the bed area, and custom blinkers were added up front, as well as custom taillights in the rear. The body was then lathered in Chevrolet Bright White paint, including the front bumper and the rear valance. This gives the truck that ‘white-out’ look, which looks very cool on this pickup. This truck also has a perfect lowered stance, and sits on polished 15” Cragar S/S wheels, wrapped w/ SXP GT radial tires (P235/60/R15). You can walk around the truck a dozen times, and it looks excellent from every angle. The truck retains its original frame, which has been boxed in the front & the rear. Other chassis features include: Mustang II front end, 4-link rear suspension, adjustable coil over shocks, 4-wheel disc brakes, Ford 9” rear differential, and an aluminum 18-gallon fuel cell.

Open the driver’s door and you’ll find a super-clean interior that matches the exterior perfectly. Interior features include: original bench seat (reupholstered w/ tan cloth & velour), body-colored door panels w/ tan vinyl inserts, original body-colored dashboard w/ Dakota Digital Series One gauges, tilt-steering column from Speedway, original 1954 Chevrolet body-colored steering wheel, and tan carpeting throughout w/ matching floor mats. The interior simple, clean, and super-comfortable.

Pop open the hood and you will find a 350ci LT1 V8 fuel-injected motor, linked to a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission, both from the same 1996 Chevrolet Corvette. A set of Hedman headers are hooked up to a custom dual-exhaust system w/ Flowmaster mufflers which sound excellent. A custom aluminum radiator w/ a 16” fan keeps her running nice & cool, even in hot summer weather. She fires right up, settling into a nice smooth idle, and she runs, drives and performs beautifully. This absolutely one-of-a-kind custom pickup is a blast to drive, and gets a ton of attention anywhere she goes. She is titled as a 1954 GMC ½-ton pickup, so registration and insurance are no trouble at all.

Again, if you have been searching for a one-off vintage truck that you can drive & enjoy to the fullest, and not go broke in the process, it would be very hard to beat this beautiful 1954 GMC 5-Window Custom Pickup!
